Converted a plan and an elevation from scale 1:100 to 1:75~ Took me quite sometime to complete it but it was kinda fun turning the scale ruler over and over again~ xD
(p/s: scale rulers are really helpful~ xD)
Not only that, we were also taught about line weight. Outermost lines or the part where we cut got to have the thickest line as indication. Details in the inside on the other hand, got to be drawn using a thinner pen. Line weights are important in these drawings to show the relation between the building structures and details.

SJ 05 - Site plan, Thumbnails.
Task of the day : Get into groups > pick a site > measure it > draw out the plan of it in a 1 : 50 scale.
Problems faced :
1) super hot and not to mention BURNING sun !! We turned into roasted human sate after measuring the site. One of our group member even fell sick the next day~ ><''
2) Maybe due to the disturbing sun, our measurement was a bit off. So we measured it again and again to get it right.
3) Curved staircase, super hard to sketch it right~ ><'
Plan of our chosen site + thumbnails. Approximately 20% of the chosen site is interior, which is the cafeteria. The tables and chairs are drawn with dotted lines as it is indoors and underneath the second floor. The thumbnails include an air-ventilation hole in the staircase, a short garden lamp screwed into site and a notice board nailed on the wall.
Perspective 1 from site.
Perspective 2 from site.
End of submission ONE~ cheers*

SJ 04b - Drawing Convention II
SJ O4a - Drawing Convention
Was told to form groups of 5 and pick an architect. For this assignment, we are asked to trace one of our architect's building's drawing. I've chosen Tadao Ando's 'Saka no ue no musuem' (translation : Clouds on the Hill Museum). This building is unique in a way that it is triangular in shape when viewed from the top. This building also reflects Tadao Ando's architecture style : Mastery of nature, light and space.
Site plan and axonometry view.
Plans of the building.
Section of the building.
Elevation of another amazing building > HOUSE TWISTED by Kentaro Takeguchi and Asako Yamemoto. (I failed to find Saka no ue no museum's elevation. ><')
Perspective view of Saka no ue no museum.
Feel free to Google search this building guys~ coz it's really an awesome building^^ Chiaozz~

SJ 02c - Combined strokes
Drawn 3 objects and one perspective that consists of combined strokes.
Object 1 : combined zig-zag, cross-hatching and short strokes.
object 2 : combined cross-hatching and pointilism.
object 3 : combined scribble, pointilism, cross-hatching, continuous (the plate) and short strokes.
Perspective : Used zig-zag and cross hatching to shade the left side of the building which is in the shadows. Short strokes are used underneath the first floor roof as shades.

SJ 02a - Strokes
Learnt 6 different architectural strokes. Not too easy, not too hard, but very useful. :)
Stroke 1 : Zig-zag.
Effect : To show rough and solid texture.
Stroke 2 : Cross-hatching
Effect : Frequently used for shading shadows or shaded region of a place or an object.
Stroke 3 : Pointilism
Effect : Smoth and fine texture.
Stroke 4 : Continuous.
Effect : Simple and tidy.
Stroke 5 : Short strokes.
Effect : Nice for shading as it indicates directions of light and shadow.
Stroke 6 : Scribble
Effect : Random and messy. Usually used for bushes, shrubs, trees, etc.

SJ 03b - Scribble scribble scribble
Well it's been quite a while since the first post, considering that I am actually suppose to keep this blog update weekly... ><' Initially, I wanted to upload assignment one > architectural strokes. However, while browsing through the scanned sketches, I found out that I was short of one sketch. Great =='. So, in the mean time, i'll just upload some other sketches instead just to keep u guys entertained~ :) Here are some quick sketches I did in class while enjoying miss D's 'faster faster' and 'ini tidak adil' songs~ xD
(p/s : dislikes not allowed to use eraser while doing a quick sketch rule. )
Quick sketch one. didn't manage to complete it. And i kinda got the blocks and the shadows mixed up~ ^.^''
Quick sketch 2. Interior perspective.
Quick sketch 3. Lol...didn't finish this one either. xD Kinda like the car though~ looks silly xD
Quick sketch 4. This one looks complete.^^ but i kinda forgot that the horizon should be straight and at the same level~ tee hee xD
Okay, i guess that's all for now, feel free to comment~ I'll see u guys around. :)
