Short slack and it's back to work again.

Final Project Period. Some are stressed out, some are depressed, some broke down, many didn't sleep. Yeap, this is what architecture does to people. Howeverrrr, I'm somehow rather enjoying the busy-ness~ Call me crazy but it's true~ x)

Some calls me a workaholic. I take it as compliment! :D *I love my Rotring, random but yea*

When it comes to model making, the floor is my table. This is when my room turns into a chaotic trash field, which means more cleaning up awaits me...hell yea life is great. sigh*

No matter how busy or how awful my ahjunma look is, there'll always be camwhoring session with HOMIE (term created by vivianT that refers to housemate XD)

WHENEVER AND WHEREVER, I MEAN IT. The photo shows it all no? xD

AHEM~! credits to the always horny-ly-creative CORN~

Conclusion is, stress, sad, happy, high, crazy, insane, depressed, emo, emotion-less or whatsoever emotion it is, it wouldn't change anything. The deadline will not change no matter how badly you cried or how many sleepless nights you went through or how hard you pray. So why not change all the negative thinking to positive energy and enjoy every single bit of this? Life is short, live it to the max~ My all time favorite quote ;) Good luck and all the best to all my coursemates, NEVER SAY NEVER~ :)

Ok back to work..........................

Upcoming challenge. Anticipated yet nerve wrecking.

Final project for archi studio is hereeeeeeeeeeee~~ It takes up a total of 45% which is A LOT. I can't afford to fail this assignment. No, in fact, I got to put a hundred and ten percent of effort to try and get an A+! It's not only to maintain my grades in order to avoid scholarships termination, but also to WOW the crowd. Lecturers, fellow classmates and not to mention External Pros who will be attending our presentation and seeing our work~ It will be a great opportunity to get myself exposed and hopefully, show them what I'm capable of. I really really hope that this assignment will turn out smoothly. But like they said, design is a risk, the client either take it or leave it. Your idea may earn you tons but it may also worth zero value. Sounds harsh but this is reality, this is the real world.

Howeverrrrrr, I'm just gona put all those thought aside for the mean time and just enjoy the whole design process. Haha~ I mean, it's studio one... the only chance to go wild with ideas and actually have fun, well at least that's what the lecturers always says. I don't like working under pressure and I hate it whenever I feel stress. I admit I do feel depressed at times, especially after seeing others coming up with super creative ideas and producing God-like work. BUT I try not to pressure myself and keep reminding myself that I am suppose to be a happy 19 year old girl who should be going to college happily, learning and exploring new ideas and also having a hell of a fun time with a bunch of crazy friends. Oh and did I mentioned that it's the last year being a teen and I should be enjoying it to the max? xD

Till the next post fellow readers~ and do wish me luck in this project~ chiaoz^^

Hide and Peep~

Latest assignments update! So we've just completed a group project which requires us to create a 3mx3mx3m space based on the concept hide and peep~ Well my group did not went very well cz firstly our design is kinda complicated, secondly the site is uneven, which kinda disrupts out design, and lastly, the lecturer's didn't really like the final product, so we just got a B for this project. :/ But I got to say that I had a great time with my group mates. We laughed a lot, we hang out a lot, we worked a lot, we spent a lot, we sang a lot.....we had lots of crazy moments throughout and it was definitely a great piece of memory. The one thing I regretted for this assignment is that I relied too much on my group leader. He's always steady, calm and sure of things so it made me very dependent. Sorry boss, it won't happen again if there is a next time! >< Other groups did very well, especially those who got an A, gratz to all of them. Actually gratz to all for accomplishing this assignment cz no one failed^^ Ok less talk and lets see pics! :)

Project name : The Inclination
Materials used : cardboard, mounting board, glue, thumb tags

Mask.

Yeap about the mask assignment mentioned in the earlier, TADA, here's the final product. :)

Outer inner, that's me, spot it? x)

Outer. Inner. Me.

So our first assignment for archi studio one was to design a mask that expresses our self identity. For me, I would like to express the inner and outer me. The outer me, is the first impression I usually give people > serious, plain, ordinary, organized, basically nothing much. However, the inner me is actually full of emotion, crazy, fun, outgoing and basically A LOT more compared to the outer me. In order to express that, I decided to divide my mask into two parts, one showing outer and the other showing inner. We are only allowed to use one material and NO GLUE! So i chose straws because they can be connected into various shapes and most importantly it kinda represents what I wana express. Don't get what I mean? Well, when you see a normal straw, it's very dull and boring right? But if u bend it or cut it or fold it or whatsoever, it's actually very fun and interesting to play with. That's exactly what I want to express > Get to know me better to discover the true me :)

Submission is only few days away. Fingers crossed, hope I can complete it on time and most importantly, hope the outcome will be great. Pray hard! *prays for Japan too!*

The prototype.

Progressing.........

3.15am and still working....can see hair dy damn messy :/

Good luck me and of course all the best too to my fellow classmates~ We can do it! :)

Pitstop. Rest. Ready to go again.

Initially, I created this blog just for the sake of submitting my assignments, as instructed by my lecturer. However, I kinda feel bad after I abandoned it since the last blog submission. So, I decided to keep this blog alive! So starting from today, this blog will be my official blog~~ x) Of course it's not gona be like a daily routine kind of blog, nor it will be those emo emo secret diary kind of blog. I'll just continue uploading my work but regularly I'll post an update about my current life and situation just to keep u guys on track ;)

most recent photo of us, YMU~ :)

So FNBE ended and degree started. I'm feeling very anxious about it because there are freaking 160 students in my class! and that is like A LOT! In a competitive point of view, this is a new battleground with new competitors. But in a social point of view, this is a new social network where we get to meet lots of different kinds of people, and of course make more friends :)

No matter what point of view, I'll just hang on to my moto >" Stay positive no matter what and everything will turn out fine~ Whatever happens, don't lose faith and most importantly, don't lose the smile on your face :)" Yea....i'm sure this moto will give me motivation and get me through degree, just like how it got me through foundation. x)

oh right, I got 2 new babies to accompany me through ARCHITORTURE~ guys, meet gini and jamie :)

8 o'clock class tomoro, I better go to bed~ till then~ nitez all~ zzz...

Portfolio~

We were told to create a portfolio to compile all our works throughout foundation. It certainly was a great process, looking through works that I've did throughout the months, seeing my progression and of course improvements~ ;)

first attempt on making a zig-zag book~ risky but thank god i made it~ :D
